Adrian Barker - Managing Director

Adrian Barker is our ideas man as well as keeper of the purse strings. As Managing Director Adrian has the dubious pleasure of paying all the invoices and statutory demands from the tax man. Adrian is also responsible for all purchasing and the maintenance and upkeep of our vehicles. Adrian has over 12 years recruiting experience for the horticulture and Landscaping industry and is an endless source of knowledge and wisdom.

 

Marian Barker - Director

Marian is our multi-tasking powerhouse with over 20 years experience and is involved in all aspects of the business whilst retaining a very “hands on approach”. Marian has recently achieved her fellowship of the REC (the professional body for the recruitment industry). The REC requires that all their members keep abreast of current recruitment and employment issues through continuous professional development and training. Above all Marian’s leadership ensures that Anders Plus maintains the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

 

Jenni Renford-Fox - Business Manager

Originally from Australia, Jenni is the Office Manager and has been with Anders Plus for four years. After completing a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Operations Jenni worked in the Hotel industry before moving to recruitment 10 years ago. Prior to working with Anders, Jenni worked as a recruitment consultant within the Secretarial and Retails sectors in London working directly alongside our Director Marian Barker. With their years of combined experience and knowledge Jenni was the obvious choice to join Marian to assist with the growth and development of Anders Plus.

 

Clayton Colbert - Perm Controller

Clayton is the Permanent Recruitment Consultant for London and the South East. Clayton has been with Anders Plus for over 3 years. Having started on the temporaries division he has built up a considerable knowledge of the London Horticulture and Landscaping industry. Clayton is from Adelaide in South East Australia where he gained 7 years experience in recruitment whilst working for a government project. As a previous Co-owner of a small recruitment company Clayton brings multiple skills to Anders Plus including data and records management as well as experience gained in sales, marketing and accounts. Clayton also has the added advantage of being an Anders temp when he first registered.

 

Richard Bennett - Perm Controller

Richard is the new member on the Permanent team and comes from a diverse background in Horticulture, Fitness and Events Management. He was born in London, but grew up in Durban, South Africa and then moved to Sydney, Australia for a while after school and studies. Richard was involved with running Production Nurseries in Australia before moving back to Cape Town, South Africa where he embarked on a career in Fitness Club Operations. He continued this path on returning to London and diversified in to Events Management. Before joining Anders Plus as a Resourcer, he spent some time running pubs. He is a very keen Dragon boater and enjoys running and socialising. Richard joined us at the start of 2007 and looks after clients and candidates in all areas outside London and the Home Counties.

 

Kerry Canestra - Temp Controller

Kerry is originally from Cape Town, South Africa and has been with Anders Plus for four years. During this time Kerry has progressed from Payroll/Administrations to our Senior Temporaries Controller having accumulated a wealth of knowledge of both industry and our clients. Originally from a sales and customer service background Kerry’s talents are invaluable to recruitment. She works alongside Leigh supplying staff throughout Central and Greater London. Kerry is also REC qualified in Recruitment Practice.

 

Leigh Stafford - Temp Controller leigh@andersplus.com

Leigh is a true blue Aussie from the Central Coast approximately 1 hour north of Sydney. He's our newest member of the team and works alongside Kerry as a Temporaries Controller. Prior to working for Anders Leigh was an Operations Manager for a major Australian Food Company and also as a Sales Coordinator for a major company in the Rail sector. Leigh has a great personality and brings a diverse range of skills & experience to the team.
